Anything else than party?

Of course the last week was really a huge party, but we visited some tourist sights as well.

We went to the Trinity College, had an amazing tour through its history and finally visited the book of Kells - a collection of the four gospels of the 8th century - and the TCD library which was quite impressive. Shelves from ground to ceiling and busts of greek philosophers. As there is the oldest Irish harp (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_harp). The funny thing about the harp is that Guinness copyrighted the harp before the government did it and, although national symbol, the harp is wrong-sided on every document, euro coin, etc. On Guinnes pints it's right.

After the TCD we have been to the National Gallery of Ireland and visited several paintings from renowned painters like Velasquez, Picasso, Monet, Caravaccio, Rembrandt. One coffee later, we decided to get it inside of the Millenium wing of the gallery, we hurried for the National Museum.

As it was late so far, we visited the stone and bronce age exhibited goods, the viking era section with a 15 metres long boat and the middle ages rooms. But in fact nowhere you can take pictures.
